New Technology: From Hollywood to Your Theater & Your Home
Presented by: Dhanendra Patel, Product Engineer (35mm Sensor Camera)
Fred Wood, Strategic Marketing Group (3D Production)
Mr. Patel is Sony's liaison with Hollywood and is heavily involved in the application of acquisition equipment used to create feature films. He will present on the latest developments in the world of 2/3" sensors and on recent developments resulting in the creation of a 24p camera based on a 35mm sensor. Mr. Wood will provide us with Sony's Vision of 3D and its use today as well as the future of 3D in the production environment. From the north, take I-85 south and exit at Clairmont Road. Continue straight across Clairmont and enter the access road for I-85 only keep to the right. Turn right just before REI onto Briarwood road. PC&E's Briarwood stage will be on your right. If you are coming from the south, exit onto the service road (Clairmont Exit) and just before reaching Clairmont, do a "U" turn under I-85 from the left-most lane of the access road. This will put you on the southbound access road.
