Improved DSNG & Satellite Broadcast Performance

Joint Meeting with SBE
The presentation will take a look at DVB-S2 and MPEG-4 AVC and how these
new technologies relate to satellite applications. What advantages does the
"S2" flavor bring? How do latency and 1060p fit into the mix? What are VCM
and ACM and how do they compare to AVC? Our speaker, Mr. David Mitchinson,
is Tandberg's Business Development Director of DSNG Systems and joined the
company when it was NDS. David has designed many of the DVB-T systems
that are in use today by European broadcasters. Prior to Tandberg, he was a
Senior Engineer with the BBC's Transmission Engineering Group.
TI Broadcast Solutions Group is located at 2975 Northwoods Parkway, in
Norcross. Take I-285 to the Peachtree Industrial Boulevard exit (heading
north). Pass Jimmy Carter Boulevard keep to the right where Peachtree
Parkway forks. Turn right at Northwoods Parkway and Technical Innovation
will be on your left.
