Digital Cinema is NOW and is the ultimate theatre experience. Here’s an opportunity to learn the details of this exciting technology. Matt Basford of Regal Entertainment Group (and 2007 recipient of the Lou Wolf Memorial Scholarship Award) will deliver a talk that will cover a bit of the history of digital cinema and the technology that was eventually implemented. There will be a Demo of 3D and an opportunity to see the hardware involved in delivering 2D and 3D Digital Cinema to your local movie theatre. Note that this is an unsponsored event, so lunch is on-your-own after the presentation. Please bring a colleague.
