Content Storage Management solutions provide a central repository for all digital assets for Broadcast, Media and the Entertainment environments.
CSM is a means to provide a unified IT-based storage infrastructure - including near-line, archive and off-line - for digital assets under the control of diverse systems such as Media Asset Management
(MAM), automation, and edit systems. CSM solutions are also the hub for content repurposing for other distribution methods such as cell phones and the web.
Ryad Kahale, Front Porch Digital, and Rodney Turner, SpectraLogic, will present the theories and work flows that define Content Storage Management and the associated storage infrastructures. NOTE: Prior security clearance is required. Please sign up here.

The May SBE Atlanta meeting will feature a presentation by Jeff Nelson,
Broadcast Products Manager of Dolby Laboratories. It will be held on May 20th
and will look at present and future products to deal with varying loudness.
