Design Considerations for Broadcast / Datacenter Facilities
An Overview from a Rack Design Perspective
Presented by: Darryl Berman, Regional Sales Manager, Electrorack Enclosure Products
Join us for a look at the latest design ideology and current techniques applied to designing Broadcast, Cable, Satellite, IPTV, and Datacenter facilities. Topics include why thinking deeper and wider may make sense, cooling options (hot aisle - cold aisle versus alternatives), building infrastructure interfaces (sub floor bases, soffits, etc.), IP Addressable Power Monitoring versus basic power, fiber and cable management options, and "Green" IT initiatives to effect a cost savings just to name a few. Note that prior security clearance is required. Please sign up before noon on Monday April 13th to be added to the list.
Darryl Berman is Regional Manager for ELECTRORACK Enclosure Products and has over 15 years of experience in the design, installation and planning of enclosure solutions for mission critical data centers, IPTV, and broadcast facilities with an expertise in flooring interface, power, cooling, seismic concerns, logistics, and cable management solutions.
