APRIL MEETING
Monday April 9, 2007

Refreshments:  6:30 PM        Meeting:  7:30 PM

The April Section meeting will feature another in our irregular series of "State of the Section" discussions.  It has been almost two years since the last open forum. This conversation provides an opportunity for members and guests to comment on the programs, activities and direction over the past two years. With elections coming up and the change in leadership, this is a useful means for section officers to gather information that will help guide the Atlanta section in the future.  Topics for discussion will include subjects and issues that we should or could address in future programs, the role of the Section in the local industry, the role of the national SMPTE organization and its relationship with the local Section, and any other topics of interest.  We are fortunate as a Section to have a number of members who have served or are currently serving in roles with SMPTE who can both bring insight and carry our message to SMPTE headquarters.  Please join us for this important and useful session. Bring a Colleague.
