March 10 Meeting
Monday March 10, 2008
Refreshments: 6:30 PM Meeting: 7:30 PM

Color Theory and Gamut
Our perception of color and imagery controls how we view television signals. How we transmit TV signals affects
the
reconstructed images we see. Errors are created and not all errors are created
equally.
Doug Keltz, Tektronix, explores the facts and theory of color imagery and how to quantify and measure color gamut errors.
Note that prior security clearance is required to enter the Turner Techwood campus. Please sign up here. Note also we are
meeting in a different building than where we usually meet (see map below). Please bring a colleague.

Note that Techwood Drive is still closed due to bridge construction.
If you are coming from the north on 75 / 85, exit at 17th street
and cross the bridge. Turn right on Spring Street and then right
on 10th Street. Turn right on the short "stub" that leads to
Turner's main entrance.
